Member Badges

Placing member badges on your website is a way to show visitors that you care about Open Source, that your commitment to Open Source is serious, and that you've put your money where your mouth is. It also helps show potential employees who care about Open Source that your company might be a good place for them. And member badges also promote the Pledge itself, which helps us achieve our mission of getting maintainers paid.

There are two natural places to place these badges on your website: your footer, and your Careers page.

We recommend making the badge a link to your Open Source Pledge member page, which will provide your visitors with more information about your commitment to Open Source, such as your payments to maintainers and your blog posts.

You can choose whichever one of these badges is most appropriate for you.
